Silphium perfoliatum - Cup Plant
Perennial growing up to 8 feet. Grows in full sun and medium to wet soils. Prefers moist, rich soils but can tolerate drier conditions, clay and wet soils. Yellow flowers bloom from July to September and attract a variety of bees butterflies and skippers. This is a large plant that works best at the back of a planting or in a natural setting.
