Heuchera richardsonii- Prairie Alumroot
Perennial, clump-forming plant growing up to 2 feet tall. Grows in full sun to part shade and dry to medium soils. This is a fairly drought tolerant species even though it is shallowly rooted. Attractive foliage throughout much of the year. Small green flowers are visited by small bees. Blooms from May to June.
