Rhus aromatica - Fragrant Sumac

Shrub growing 5 to 12 feet. Grows in sun to shade and dry to moist soils. Yellow flowers attract butterflies searching for nectar. Bloom from April -June. Tolerates dry, rocky soils, sandy soils, and clay.  Brilliant reddish, orange foliage in the fall provides late season interest.
